ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:

Molly Moran opened Table Wine in 2015 after years in restaurants and wine retail. She wanted a place for people to learn about wine & food and to gather with their loved ones over a glass of wine, so she created such a space in her beloved Atwood neighborhood. In recent years, Molly has been drawn to activism within the wine industry and focuses on winemakers who largely go unseen by the traditional wine industry. She started the Table Wine podcast in October 2021 along with her former staff member Andy Stoiber as a way to connect with the broader community and to share a new perspective on the wine world.

NONPROFIT SPOTLIGHT:

BadgerBots Robotics creates exciting STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) learning opportunities for kids in an open, collaborative environment.

Its roots are in robotics—the organization provides work space and mentors for multiple high school FIRST robotics teams. The organization also runs FIRST LEGO League, a robotics competition for ages 9–14, for the entire state of Wisconsin. BadgerBots also offers weekly classes and workshops on tech topics during the school year, as well as week-long camps during winter break, spring break, and summertime.
