Dustin Johnson
Dustin has been building businesses since 2014. A UW-Madison graduate with a degree in marketing and management/human resources, he now serves as lead consultant for Johnson & Stern Tax Solutions: a tax, accounting, and business coaching firm specializing in taking the complex and making it simple.
Dustin first found SMBMad in 2017 while looking for resources for entrepreneurs in Madison. The social and digital marketing knowledge he picked up over breakfast has followed him through several ventures, including launching his tax firm in 2019. The content became incredibly valuable because as a virtual tax firm, the client experience is shaped in large part by branding and communication. Joining the board was a way to give back to the community that taught him so much.
Dustin lives on Madison’s north side with his wife Kelsey and their dog Finnley. He’s happiest on a Wisconsin trail, in the gym, or in the stands at a Mallards game.
