Scroll Less, Live More: Setting Healthy Boundaries With Social Media
How many hours a day do you spend on social media? It may be more than you think.
In this day and age, where our lives are dominated by our social media presence, people feel compelled to check their social media accounts at all hours of the day. It is especially difficult for business owners, entrepreneurs, and social media marketers to get space from their digital lives. That’s why it is so important to learn how to create a balance between their online and offline lives.
The impact social media can have on business is undeniable. It engages with potential customers, creates leads, and makes sales. But it can be detrimental to people’s health and business when they are always focused on their social media content, likes and engagements. Many people waste hours of time on social media every day convincing themselves it’s important to their business when it’s only part of the equation to be successful.
Local life coach Melissa Brumm of Slow Life Revolution teaches that there is a better way to spend time more efficiently, expend energy on business tasks that make more money, and in turn have more time for personal relationships and projects.
In this presentation, you’ll learn to:
- Create better habits around your business social media accounts.
- Schedule your time to work more efficiently and have more personal time.
- Waste less time scrolling on social media and create more time in your day for more meaningful things in your life.
- Not take your social media engagements personally and move forward easier.
- Improve and focus on your personal relationships and life offline.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: Melissa Brumm
Burned out from social media during COVID, Melissa Brumm wanted to not have to always be looking at her phone. But as an event promoter and online marketer, it’s a little hard to get away from it. She decided to find a way to live peacefully with a smartphone and Slow Life Revolution was born.
Through her website, Melissa teaches people sustainable ways of living around technology without it running their lives. Exploring what living online does to us as individuals and as a society, she teaches how you can take the revolutionary act of NOT living your life online. Through mindset work, she teaches people to stop living their lives through screens and move towards taking empowered action to create the lives they want IRL.
