Are you tired of being told to ‘turn it off and on again’? Ever wondered why your battery seems to die so quickly? Have you found yourself overwhelmed being your company’s designated tech guru? Have no fear, Hilary is here!
Hilary Stohs-Krause is co-owner and senior developer at Ten Forward Consulting, a custom web and mobile development company based in Madison. Hilary serves on the board for Forward Fest, and as the organizer for the Madison Women in Tech group. With her expansive tech knowledge, Hilary joined us to discuss ways we can improve our company’s relationship with tech, touching on password best practices, storage, back-ups, and maintenance. Hilary even shares advice on how we can ‘talk tech’! While we won’t reveal all Hilary’s insights here, we’ll share just a few of our favorite takeaways:
- What makes an effective password? Length!
- The secret to keeping your battery healthy? Temperature regulation and storage optimization.
- Does turning your device off and turning it on again really help? Yes, more than you may realize!
Whether you’re looking to boost your company’s tech game, or just interested in some helpful tips, there’s plenty more in store!
