Sarah Best – CEO + Chief Strategist of Sarah Best Strategy
Sarah Best is the CEO + Chief Strategist of Sarah Best Strategy, a digital marketing agency in Madison, WI. She’s won eight awards for her work including best use of a social media platform from Travel + Leisure. Her work has been featured in Mashable, TechCrunch, Crain’s Chicago Business, National Geographic Traveler, Chicago Tribune, and other publications.She was tapped to speak at Social Media Week for the MacArthur Foundation, has been selected twice for SXSW (South by Southwest), and is a US Travel Association conference speaker. She is an alumna of New York University, a Rotarian, and a board member of several nonprofits.
Sara Finger, Founder & Executive Director, Wisconsin Alliance for Women’s Health
Since June of 2004, Sara Finger has been leading the effort to develop a new organizational coalition to unite, coordinate and amplify the voices of women’s health supporters in Wisconsin. Prior to assuming this role, Sara was the Northeast Director of Membership and Professional Relations for the Wisconsin Medical Society. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. She was a 2009 Mid-America Public Health Leadership Institute Fellow and is past President of the Wisconsin Public Health Association. In 2010, Sara received a Champion of Women’s Health Award from the Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation. In 2011, she was recognized by the Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault with a Voices of Courage Award. In 2012, Sara was honored with a HealthWatch Wisconsin Outreach Effort Award for her coordination work of the Save BadgerCare Coalition, an Outstanding Recent Alumni Award from UW Eau Claire, was named a Woman to Watch by BRAVA Magazine and was named a Champion of Change by the White House for her work related to the Affordable Care Act. Joycelyn Fish, Director of Marketing & Development; Racine Theater Guild
Joycelyn Fish is the director of marketing and development for the Racine Theatre Guild. She holds a degree in organizational communication from Viterbo University and has worked in tourism, education, housing, and healthcare nonprofits. Joycelyn currently serves on the Visioning a Greater Racine’s board of directors and the communications committee chair. She also co-created a mouthwatering Instagram account, @RacineFoodies. NONPROFIT SPOTLIGHT: RIVER FOOD PANTRY
This month, SMB Mad will accept donations for food and hygiene items for The River Food Pantry. Items such as boxed meals, canned fruit, cereals, rice, ramen, pasta, sauce, peanut butter, jelly and soup will be collected in a large bin at the event. Hygiene products you could donate include deodorant, diapers, dishwashing soap, feminine products, tissues, hand soap, shampoo, lotions and creams.
